Aloha I’m Jessica!

For the past thirteen years, I have taught English Literature at King Kekaulike High School. In that time, I have educated and mentored over 1,500 students. Now, I’m excited to offer private tutoring because I see a real need for more support in writing, reading, and higher-level thinking across homeschool, online, private, and public school communities.

I started teaching because I love English — but even more because I love working with students. Watching someone finally "get" a tough concept or find the confidence to speak their mind is so fulfilling-- for them and for me!

I hold a Master’s degree in Teaching and a Master’s degree in English Literature. I’ve spent most of my career teaching Juniors, Seniors, and AP Literature students, but I love working with students of all levels.
